Welcome to the official website of AECM Jakalteko (National Educative Association and Mayan Cultural). Our principal purpose is to provide and offer the Word of God in the Jakaltek mayan language to the Popti’mayan community of Jacaltenango in Guatemala, we want all of them to hear, read, and comprehend the Holy Word of God in their native mayan language.
In this site, you will be able to download the translation of the Scriptures (Old Testament) in the PDF format. At the moment we are still translating the New Testament, you will also be able to download the Pentateuch audio (Genesis – Deuteronomy) we have also created an app to be installed in cellphones, all of these resources are in the modern jakaltek language so you can freely enjoy the Word of God.
