AECM Jakalteko, (National Educative Association and Mayan Cultural)), is part of the national AECM, which is a nonprofit organization established in Guatemala to translate the Holy Word of God (Bible) to the Mayan languages of Guatemala, and now it is translating the Old Testament into eight different Mayan languages of Guatemala which are the following: Jacaltek, Mam, Tzutujil, Poqomchi, Achi, Ixil, Awakateko, K’iché, and Akateko.
